International Orders - Duties and Taxes

Please note that for all international orders (orders delivered outside Australia), other than orders sent to the United States, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied by the recipient countries government on arrival in your country.

There should be no customs duties for products imported to the United States due to the Australian/US Free Trade Agreement (FTA) that came into effect on January 1, 2005.

For all international orders except for the United States, all additional charges for customs clearance, import duties and taxes are payable by you, the Customer. Such charges are not included in the delivery fee or purchase price of Dirty Weekend Shop products. We have no control over those charges and cannot determine what they may be. We are not authorised by international governments to charge import duties on their behalf.

Customs duties are not always applied. Each country has its own rules for determining whether customs duties will apply.

We will not be responsible for the payment of any customs duties.

When ordering from us you agree to pay any import duties which may be imposed by your countries government. If you refuse to pay any import duties imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order, you will remain liable for the shipping price together with any shipping amount incurred in the return of the goods to us and any customs duty or penalty imposed by your government.

On receiving your returned parcel we will refund/credit the value of goods, less shipping fees, to send the order to you initially. Furthermore, any shipping amount incurred in the return of the goods to us and any customs duty or penalty imposed by your government will be deducted from the refund/credit we give you for the goods.

Postage & Shipping

Within Australia

The postage and handling costs are calculated by weight and volume and based on the cost price charged by Australia Post.

* also included in the shipping cost is a Packaging/Handling charge of $1.00 and a Registered Post charge of $2.60 for orders up to $100, and then $1.10 for every additional $100.

* The Registered Post charge does not apply to Express Post shipping. Express Post shipping incurrs a Packaging/Handling charge of $3.00. Express Post packages cannot be sent by registered post and therefore are not insured. Mood Food takes no responsibility for packages sent by Express Post.

All orders are shipped using the services of Australia Post.
Please allow 2 - 6 working days for delivery of your order by ordinary mail, 1 - 3 days by Express Post.

Next Day Delivery

To receive your order within 24 hours you need to do the following:

* Make your order by phone before 2pm (Monday to Friday) so we can post it out to you that day.
* Ensure the delivery address is within the metropolitan area of a major Australian city.

We guarantee that we will deliver your order to the Post Office that day.
We will send your order by Express Post.
We cannot guarantee that Australia Post will deliver the item within their specified time frame.

New Zealand

The postage and handling costs are calculated by weight and are based on the cost price charged by Australia Post.

* also included in the shipping cost is a Packaging/Handling charge of $1.00 and an Insurance charge of $7.50 for orders up to $100, and then $2 for every additional $100.
