What is Aromatic Dimension?

Aroma is the sensation of smell and we have an unlimited range of distinction with this sense - ability.

When we smell something, we are inhaling the 'aromatic compounds' of a thing, which directly enters the 'limbic' system. The limbic system of the human brain, is the center for taste, memory and emotion.

As a result of this direct link to memory and emotion, we form strong connections and emotional responses to the food we eat and smell. This link can transport us to memories of childhood, the baking of bread in Mammas kitchen, the aroma of Pappas Hungarian Goulash.

This link, results in 'aroma' being a trigger of emotional experience. Good or bad, the experience can leave us breathless and often, is the difference between enjoying a meal, or not.

Taste, on the other hand, is limited to a small range of sensations, including; salty, sweet, sour, bitter and umami.

When we combine these two experiences, we have the opportunity to transport the consumer to other worlds, past, present and future.
